Need of Internet connection

NEEDS:

• To connect to the Internet, you need a computing device, a connection device, and an Internet service provider (ISP).
• A computing device may be a personal computer, a portable computer, or a mobile device, such as a cell phone or handheld device.
• To connect your computer to the Internet, you will need a connection device, such as a modem.
• Modem converts digital information into Ana-log information and sends it over the phone line, the modem may be in-built in your computer, or it may be connected.
• An Internet Service Provider (ISP) is a company that provides Internet connectivity to individuals, businesses, or organisations.
• It also provides you with additional services such as storage space for sharing your personal content. Externally
• There are many methods through which you can connect to the Internet.
• You can also connect to the Internet using wireless technology. Computing devices that support wireless technology have Wireless Fidelity or that provide wireless communication between the computing device and the network.
• WiFi cards are not physically connected to the ISP. Another device required for wireless connectivity is the access point (AP). AP are used to connect wireless computing devices to wired networks.
• The wired network may belong to an ISP. Then you are connected to the internet through ISP.
