WhatsApp Web allows you to access your WhatsApp account from a computer’s web browser.
Here’s how to use Web WhatsApp:
- Access Web WhatsApp:
- Open a web browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc.).
- Go to the official WhatsApp Web website: web.whatsapp.com.
- Scan QR Code:
- Open WhatsApp on your mobile device (smartphone or tablet).
- Tap on the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner.
- Select “Linked device” from the dropdown menu.
- Point your phone’s camera towards the QR code displayed on the browser.
- Log In:
- Once the QR code is scanned, your WhatsApp chats will appear on the web browser.
- You’re now logged in to WhatsApp Web.
- Navigate and Interact:
- You can now navigate through your chats, send and receive messages, and perform various actions, just like you would on your phone.
- Click on a chat to view its contents. You can send text messages, emojis, images, videos, and documents.
- To send attachments, click the attachment icon (paperclip) and select the type of file you want to send.
- Notifications:
- If you allow notifications, you’ll receive browser notifications for new messages when the browser tab is open.
- Log Out:
- To log out, click on the three dots at the top of the chat list on the web browser.
- Select the active session
- Click “Log out” from the dropdown menu.
