Lecture 3 – Google Duo
Google Duo is a video and audio calling app made by Google, similar to Apple’s FaceTime, Facebook’s WhatsApp or Messenger and Microsoft’s Skype. Duo is free to use and works across both iOS and Android devices – unlike Apple’s FaceTime.
Duo enables you to reach people in your phone’s contacts list, offers end-to-end encryption, and has nifty features like Knock Knock, which allows you see live video of your caller before you answer.
It’s easy to use too because the app’s interface is ridiculously simple. Here’s how Duo works, including how to get started and whether it’s safe to use.
Step 1: Open Google Chrome and select the “app launcher icon“.
Step 2: Select “Duo” to Open.
Step 3: To start a video call Press the start an icon.
Step 4: Add the contact number of the recipient.
Following shows how caller and recipient receives call.
Step 5: Click on “Create group” When you have group meetings.
Step 6: to Add people in the group click on “Add people”.
Step 7: Add the people from the contact list.
Step 8: You can share the scheduled meeting to the group peoples.
Step 9: To Start group call press the “Start call” button to proceed.
