Lecture 1 – MS Word

Note :If you haven’t downloaded the MS office suite yet, go to play store and download Microsoft Office Suite.

Click the link to download MS Office.

Once Microsoft Office suit installed on the phone: –

Step 1: – Open Microsoft Apps folder on your phone and you will see installed apps on your phone from Microsoft .

Step 2: – Click Office to open Office suite files.

Step 3: – Click on the + Sign to open the file you want to create.

Step 4: – You will find the options to open word, Excel, power point, forms etc.

Step 5: – Click on word to create a word file.

Step 6: – Click on Blank Document.
Step 7: – It will open the blank document and you can edit and create your file.

Step 8: – You can type your materials here.
Step 9: – Here you will find the options to Bold your text, underlining your text, Changing the color of your text etc.

Step 10: – In home, you will find the options to make your text bold, Highlight your text, Change color of the text etc.
Step 11: – Here you can choose the size of your text.

Step 12: – Click Home and you can see more options e.g., Insert, Draw, Layout etc.

Step 13: – Click Insert and you will find options to insert images, Tables, text boxes & Shapes etc.

Step 14: – Select the option Draw and you can see options to Draw using your mouse or touchpad, Eraser, Pen, Highlighter for your text etc.

Step 15: – If you click Layout, you will find the options to select Margins for your page, select the size of the page, Adjusting columns etc.

Step 16: – Click Size and you can choose different sizes for your paper or sheet.

Step 17: – Click Font option and you can see different fonts. You can choose the text font according to your choice.

Step 18: – If you see a red line under your text, it means there is a spelling mistake or a grammatical mistake. When you select that word, it will give you options to choose the right word/spelling. Or you can click Ignore if you think the word is correct.

Step 19: – You can use voice command using this option. It requires permissions from users. Once you allow the permissions you can speak, and it will type your words as text in the file.

Step 20: – You can save the file on your device or find the already saved file on your device.
