1.3 How to create and save a Document?
In this lecture we’ll discuss how to save a document in MS 2013.
Once you’re done with the typing in your new document, it’s time for you to save y0ur work. For saving your work you’ve to go file and click on save. Following is the process of saving your document:
- When you’ll open a new document, it will appear as below.
- Type the text you want to type.
- The document area is the space where you type the text.
- The Flashing Vertical bar is known as insertion point. We’ve typed a paragraph as shown below. The text appears to the left of the insertion point as you type.
To save your document, follow the steps below:
- To save your document click on File tab. Click on Save As.
- Choose the location where you want to save your document. Here we’ve chosen desktop to save our file.
3. Name your document as We’ve named here. By default default it is doxc. format.
4. Click on Save.
5. Now you can analyse that our document has been saved as नमस्ते.docx
Saving New Changes :
There may be an instance where you’ve to make any editing oe make new changes in the document. If you want to save your document with the same name then follow the steps below:
- You can just press Ctrl+S.
- You can also click on the
Floppy sign in the left corner of the screen.
3. You can use third method as well to save the changes, which is the Save option avialable just above the Save As option as shown in the screenshot.
