Introduction to the application

In this session, we are going to learn about Android apps, their importance, how to use them, and where we can install and uninstall them.

Let’s talk a little about applications. As you know, we have different apps for different purposes. So let us discuss what an app is and what the common apps are that we use in our daily lives. An application, or app, is a program designed to carry out a specific task. For example, if we want to watch a video, we visit the YouTube app and search for the desired content.  Similarly, if we want to buy something online, we can visit the Amazon or Flipkart apps. Some of the applications are pre-installed on your devices, and some apps we can or have to download separately from the Play Store or App Store.
